Dianne Davis

Dianne has an extensive background in non-profit Boards, strategic consulting and senior executive positions with major national and international organisations in New Zealand, Australia and the UK, including the Australian Stock Exchange, PwC and Ernst Young. A former Deputy Chair of the Holocaust Centre of New Zealand, Dianne has a strong commitment to human rights, equality, and non-discrimination. Dianne has a 1st Class Honours degree in Political Science from Victoria University of Wellington - Te Herenga Waka, and a Masters in International Relations

Chris Harris

Growing up in a multicultural environment, he was sensitive to the seemingly acceptable discrimination and casual racism directed at minority students.  Chris spent 13 years as a high school History and Social Studies teacher. He combined his passion for history with education, motivated by the belief that if we can learn from the past, we may not make the same mistakes in the future. Becoming the National Education Director in 2016 and later the inaugural CEO of the Holocaust Centre of New Zealand in 2019, In 2019 Chris was honoured with an excellence award for his commitment to Holocaust education from Yad Vashem. He is a member of several organisations that promote understanding of human rights such as the International Association of Genocide Scholars. In 2021, Chris founded Humanity Matters, with the goal of creating a New Zealand full of educated, Global Citizens, keeping ourselves and the world accountable to human rights.
